Mr Asad Parvaiz

Mr Asad Parvaiz is a highly qualified Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon working within the field of General Surgery. He specialises in providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients experiencing a broad range of breast conditions, including benign breast lumps, breast pain, and breast cancer. Focused on delivering patient-centred and reassuring care, Mr Parvaiz emphasises clear communication and meticulous diagnostic assessments to support patients with tailored treatment plans.

Mr Parvaiz completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) as a Gold Medalist at Allama Iqbal Medical College in 2001, alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the University of Punjab in 2001. He subsequently undertook higher surgical training, obtaining Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2006 and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2014. In 2021, he was elected as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His professional memberships include the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the American College of Surgeons.

In his clinical practice, Mr Parvaiz specialises in rapid-assessment diagnostic clinics, family history screening, oncoplastic breast-conserving surgery, and breast reconstruction. He remains deeply involved in clinical audit and academic research, having authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in scientific journals and presented extensively at international conferences. In addition to his clinical work, he serves as an MRCS OSCE Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
