Dr Arun Cardozo

Dr Arun Cardozo is a highly regarded Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon who specialises in the diagnosis and surgical management of head and neck conditions. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, he provides comprehensive care for a wide range of general ENT disorders. Dr Cardozo has a particular clinical interest in head and neck oncology, as well as thyroid surgery, and serves as a Clinical Lead for head and neck cancer services, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of multidisciplinary care.

Dr Cardozo completed his undergraduate medical education at St. John's Medical College, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. Following his initial qualification, he underwent extensive higher surgical training in otolaryngology to refine his expertise in complex head and neck procedures. He maintains full registration with the General Medical Council and is active in professional surgical networks, keeping his clinical practice aligned with the latest advancements in ENT surgery.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Cardozo is deeply committed to medical education and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. He serves as a Clinical Placement Supervisor, guiding senior medical students through their specialist ENT training. His dedication to teaching was recently recognised with a prestigious Best Consultant Tutor award, reflecting his outstanding contribution to medical education, his approachable nature, and his ability to inspire future doctors.
