Dr. Aran Maxwell-Cox

Dr Aran Maxwell-Cox is a facial Aesthetician and Dental Practitioner. 'Aesthetics By Aran' is based in at {my}dentist in Consett. Aran specialises in dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections and cosmetic dentistry, including teeth whitening, smile makeovers and white fillings. Aran is a {my}smile provider, providing Clear Aligner Teeth Straightening using the ClearCorrect system. Aran is also trained in Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy which can be used for skin rejuvenation & hair loss.

Aran intially qualified as a dentist in 2014, at the University of Dundee. He then undertook his dental training within various private and NHS dental clinics, to hone in on his skills. He went on to become an Educational Supervisor with NHS England, along side his current position as a Facial Aesthetician and Clinician. Aran always aims to ensure his patients are comfortable and relaxed under his care, and answers all their questions regarding cosmetic dental and facial aesthetic needs. As Aran is intent on delivering the best practice possible, he also completed his PGCert in Facilitating Learning in Healthcare Practice in 2019.

Aran is also passionate about providing care to people in need and has worked at UNHCR refugee camps in Northern Greece and will be going to Tanzania to provide dental care withh the charity Bridge2Aid. Aran has been nominated for Best Young Dentist of the Year at the {my}dentist Excellence Awards and the prestigious Dentistry Awards.
