Dr Anna Starling is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician providing comprehensive healthcare for infants, children, and young people. Focusing on delivering compassionate, family-centred care, she evaluates and manages a wide range of acute and chronic childhood conditions. Her approach ensures that young patients and their families receive clear, reassuring, and individualised clinical guidance at every stage of care.

In her daily clinical practice, Dr Starling has a special interest in ambulatory paediatrics and emergency paediatric management. She is experienced in diagnosing and managing acute childhood illnesses, febrile conditions, and complex paediatric presentations requiring prompt outpatient evaluation or same-day assessment. Additionally, she holds a leadership role as a Deputy Safeguarding Lead, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to protect and support the well-being of vulnerable children and families.

Dr Starling completed higher specialty training in paediatrics, gaining diverse clinical experience across acute assessment units, emergency departments, and paediatric intensive care environments. She is actively involved in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives aimed at refining hospital guidelines for managing acute paediatric presentations.
