Dr Anna Rybak

Dr Anna Rybak is an accomplished Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist who specialises in the assessment and management of complex digestive and gut motility conditions in infants, children, and young people. She is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care that supports both young patients and their families through every stage of diagnosis and treatment. Taking a holistic clinical approach, Dr Rybak works closely alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams to design individualised management plans tailored to each child's unique needs.

Her primary clinical expertise centres on paediatric neurogastroenterology and gastrointestinal motility disorders. Dr Rybak manages a broad spectrum of paediatric conditions, including gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, functional constipation, defecation disorders, cyclic vomiting syndrome, and complex oesophageal diseases. To accurately evaluate gut function and deliver targeted therapies, she utilises specialised diagnostic procedures such as high-resolution oesophageal manometry, anorectal manometry, colonic motility investigations, and multichannel intraluminal pH-impedance monitoring.

Dr Rybak holds a Doctor of Medicine qualification as well as a PhD. Alongside her clinical practice, she is actively involved in clinical research and academic publications focused on advancing understanding and treatment guidelines for paediatric gastrointestinal disorders. She maintains active professional memberships with key medical organisations, serving as a member of the British Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Motility Working Group and participating in the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
