Dr Andy Tanagho

Dr Andy Tanagho is an accomplished Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who provides comprehensive diagnostic and surgical care for a wide array of musculoskeletal conditions. Specialising in upper limb disorders and trauma care, Dr Tanagho is dedicated to delivering personalised, patient-centred treatment plans tailored to each individual's lifestyle and functional goals. His clinical approach emphasises thorough evaluation and evidence-based interventions to help patients recover mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life.

In his clinical practice, Dr Tanagho focuses particularly on shoulder surgery, upper limb sports injuries, and complex orthopaedic trauma. His expertise encompasses advanced arthroscopic procedures for both the shoulder and knee, as well as shoulder joint replacement operations. To facilitate rapid and precise diagnosis, Dr Tanagho incorporates shoulder ultrasound assessments into his clinical evaluations, enabling prompt formulation of effective management strategies and timely therapeutic care.

Dr Tanagho earned his primary medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), before completing advanced postgraduate surgical training to attain a Master of Surgery in Orthopaedics (MCh Orth). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Trauma and Orthopaedics, and holds membership with the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS).
