Dr. Andrew Leitch

Dr. Andrew Leitch is a highly skilled Consultant Interventional Radiologist who provides comprehensive diagnostic and minimally invasive therapeutic radiology care. With a clinical focus on vascular, urological, and gastrointestinal conditions, he delivers targeted image-guided treatments tailored to individual patient needs. His patient-centred approach ensures clear communication, thorough consultations, and reassuring guidance throughout the entire care pathway.

His clinical interests encompass a wide array of image-guided vascular and interventional procedures. Dr. Leitch specialises in arterial and venous interventions, including modern walk-in, walk-out treatments for varicose veins and thread veins. In addition, his diagnostic and therapeutic expertise includes interventional oncology, endourology, percutaneous biliary interventions, urological procedures, and establishing vascular access, alongside general diagnostic imaging across abdominal and vascular systems.

Dr. Leitch earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) and Master of Science (MSci) from the University of Glasgow, completing his medical qualification in 2014. He subsequently completed postgraduate training in health professions education and attained Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2019. He holds active professional memberships with the Royal College of Radiologists, the British Society of Interventional Radiology, and the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe.
