Dr Jordan qualified from Oxford University in 2006. Thereafter he undertook trainee years as a junior doctor in the Oxford area and subsequently London, including the Royal Brompton Hospital.
In 2010, he moved to the Wessex deanery as a specialist registrar. Subsequently, he was awarded the Gawthorn Research Fellowship at the University of Exeter, using state-of-the-art microvascular techniques and cardiac MRI to explore the physiological basis and treatment of resistant hypertension.
Presently, he is a full-time NHS consultant cardiologist at University Hospitals Dorset, with regular commitments at Poole Hospital and the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, together with outreach clinics at Swanage and Wimborne Community Hospitals. Private consultations, tests and treatments are offered at BMI The Harbour Hospital, Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital and on-site at Poole Hospital.
Outside of work, he lives with his young family in Wimborne and enjoys playing the violin in a local orchestra.
