Mr Andrew Cowdray

Mr Andrew Cowdray is a highly regarded Consultant Ophthalmologist who provides expert eye care to patients across Devon and the South West. Specialising in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, refractive care, and general ophthalmology, he delivers patient-centred care that combines surgical precision with a compassionate, reassuring approach. Mr Cowdray works closely with each individual to evaluate their vision needs, offering clear guidance and tailored treatment plans designed to protect and enhance visual health.

Mr Cowdray earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc (Hons)). He completed extensive postgraduate ophthalmic training at prominent regional eye hospitals, developing extensive experience in both medical and surgical eye conditions. A Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth), he also serves as a College Tutor in Ophthalmology, leading surgical education and mentoring resident eye surgeons through their clinical training.
