I have 25 years experience as a consultant orthopaedic & hand surgeon at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton and the Nuffield Health Hospital, Taunton. I provide a personalised service for patients under my care with the majority of operations performed on a day case basis.
Surgery of the hand has always been my passion alongside supervising orthopaedic trainees from the Severn Training Rotation. I have held many other clinical roles within my base hospital and also on a regional and national scale.

Qualifications
After qualifying in medicine at the Middlesex Hospital in 1984 I completed my basic surgical traing in Bristol, gaining the FRCS in 1988. I was a specialist registrar on the Sheffield orthopaedic traing rotation with an additional 12 month fellowship in hand surgery at the Sydney & St Luke's Hospitals. I was appointed to the consultant staff at Musgrove Park Hospital in 1996 with a special interest in surgery of the hand. I treat both elective and trauma patients on the NHS and elective operations at the Nuffield Health, Taunton Hospital.
