Dr Andreea Gavrisan

Dr Andreea Gavrisan is an accomplished Community Paediatric Specialty Doctor with broad clinical experience across community paediatrics, acute paediatrics, and neonatal medicine. Specialising in developmental and behavioural child health, Dr Gavrisan provides compassionate, reassuring, and thorough care for children presenting with diverse physical, developmental, and behavioural needs. Her clinical practice focuses on delivering patient-centred and family-focused medical support that supports both the immediate health and long-term developmental outcomes of young patients.

Dr Gavrisan earned her Medical Doctor (MD) degree at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Iuliu Hatieganu" in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She subsequently undertook specialist training in Paediatrics across Romania and the United Kingdom. She holds membership qualifications with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) and is listed on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Paediatrics. To complement her specialist practice, she has completed post-qualification training certifications, including the Griffiths III Developmental Assessment, the Southampton Paediatric Sleep Course, the European Sleep Research Society Paediatric Sleep School, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) management at the University of Winchester, and European Paediatric Advanced Life Support (EPALS).

She possesses substantial experience in evaluating children for autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) pathways, developmental coordination disorder (DCD), and general developmental delay.
