Dr Amy Rushbrook

Dr Amy Rushbrook is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides expert, compassionate medical care for infants, children, and young people. Specialising in Paediatrics and Community Paediatrics, Dr Rushbrook is committed to delivering holistic, family-focused support to ensure children achieve optimal health outcomes from early infancy through adolescence.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of paediatric sub-specialties and specialist services. Dr Rushbrook serves as a Service Lead for permanent childhood hearing loss aetiology, specialising in the diagnostic evaluation and management of underlying causes of hearing impairments in children. Her clinical interests also extend to neonatology, neonatal resuscitation, and the long-term management of childhood disabilities. Alongside her clinical duties, Dr Rushbrook acts as a Community Paediatric Co-Lead for medical students, playing an active role in undergraduate teaching, coaching, and mentoring.

Dr Rushbrook completed her medical education with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree alongside her primary medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Demonstrating a continuous commitment to professional development, she holds an ILM Level 5 Qualification in Coaching and Mentoring. She maintains professional affiliations with key medical bodies, holding membership with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH), the British Association for Community Child Health (BACCH), and the British Association for Childhood Disability (BACD).
