Ms Alison Edwards

I undertook my primary medical training at the University of Oxford and subsequent Orthopaedic training within the West Midlands, followed by a fellowship in Upper limb surgery at Wrightington Hospital before taking up my first consultant post. I worked as a consultant and CLinical Director at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire for 13 years undertaking Adult and children's trauma and orthopaedics but with a special interest in hand surgery. I then moved to University Hospitals Bristol and Weston in 2017 as Consultant Orthopedic and Hand surgeon and Deputy Medical Director and since 2022 as Consultant Orthopaedic and Hand surgeon and Medical Director at Practice Plus Group Hospital in Shepton Mallet in the heart of Somerset.
