Mr Alexander Sternberg

Mr Alexander Sternberg is a Haematologist with a wealth of experience in diagnosing and treating patients with various haematological conditions. They are particularly interested in haematological malignancies, including myeloma, Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and leukaemias. Their expertise extends to conventional chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplants.

In addition to their work with haematological malignancies, Mr Alexander Sternberg also dedicates their expertise to patients with non-malignant blood disorders. They possess a keen interest in investigating and managing patients presenting with abnormal blood test results, particularly in cases of unexplained anaemia, neutropenia (low white cells), or thrombocytopenia (low platelets).

Furthermore, Mr Alexander Sternberg actively participates in numerous national and international studies that focus on developing new drugs for patients with myeloma, leukaemia, lymphoma, and myelodysplastic syndromes. Their research work primarily revolves around myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), a subject of particular interest to them.
