Dr Alexander Overton is a dedicated Orthopaedic Surgeon committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing musculoskeletal conditions and acute physical injuries. With a comprehensive approach to bone, joint, and soft tissue disorders, he works closely with patients to evaluate their symptoms, establish accurate diagnoses, and tailor individualised care plans. His practice encompasses both non-surgical management strategies and surgical interventions aimed at restoring mobility, relieving pain, and improving overall functional recovery.

His clinical interests span trauma management, complex fracture care, and joint stability evaluation. Dr Overton has a focused interest in upper limb conditions, particularly distal radioulnar joint instability and advanced dynamic imaging techniques to evaluate joint motion. Additionally, his clinical focus extends to paediatric upper limb trauma, including elbow and forearm fracture management, where he utilises evidence-based fixation techniques and careful diagnostic evaluation to promote optimal healing in growing bones. He has also been involved in innovative healthcare delivery models, such as virtual fracture pathways, to streamline patient consultations and improve emergency orthopaedic access.

Dr Overton completed his core surgical training and advanced into higher specialist training within Trauma and Orthopaedics. He earned his Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) after successfully passing his postgraduate surgical examinations.
