I had the opportunity to work under Mr Magnussen as a trainee. They demonstrated an excellent depth of clinical and operative expertise, with a meticulous and evidence-based approach to patient care. Their professional demeanour was exemplary, combining confidence and decisiveness with approachability, empathy and respect for patients and colleagues. They communicated complex clinical information clearly and ensured that patients were fully involved in treatment decisions. His attention to detail, commitment to high standards and calm approach in challenging situations were particularly impressive. He consistently demonstrated professionalism, integrity and compassion, making him an excellent role model for both clinical practice and patient-centred care. I would highly recommend him !!!

Mr Magnussen was most courteous and professional, clearly explaining the condition and treatment options available. The operation was arranged very shortly afterwards , following scans etc and on the operation day, he took time to meet with me beforehand and outline everything involved. The operation was a success, the joint healed well and his physio team were very attentive and assisted with my rehabilitation. Some 9 months post op, I have full use of my thumb joint, no pain and minimal scarring. I am very happy with Mr Magnussen’s care and would not hesitate to recommend him for this type of treatment.

Many years of practical work on building sites and school workshops left me in constant pain in my right hand. Mr Magnussen a remarkable removal, And re arrangement of bones and I have regained full use of my right hand, Which has lasted 3 years so far with no sign of deterioration. I am so grateful for his work and expertise. That has benefited me beyond the basic physical improvement. We are now looking to improve my left hand so I can be pain free there too.
