Dr Alberto Antonietti

Dr Alberto Antonietti is a highly skilled consultant interventional radiologist at the Whiteley Clinic. He graduated with a degree in Medicine from the University of Turin, Italy, in 2004, where he presented the first long-term results on the endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms. 

He completed his specialisation in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the same university in 2008, and became the youngest permanent consultant in the Italian NHS in 2009. In 2012, he became the first Italian to pass the European Board of Interventional Radiology examination. 

Dr Antonietti has a particular interest in pain-free minimally invasive surgery on lower limbs and has developed innovative techniques on local/regional anaesthesia and micro-vascular accesses. He has performed over 8,800 procedures as a first operator and has presented original studies at major international interventional radiology congresses. He joined the Whiteley Clinic in October 2022 to offer patients state-of-the-art treatment for chronic venous insufficiency.
