Foot and Ankle Surgery

Heart Murmurs

The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming with clear information on where to wait for my appointment. My appointment itself started early so waiting time was minimal.

Hip and Groin Pain

Leg Pain

Joint Replacement

The Attention and Care I received while being in the Duchy Hospital was Excellent , I would Recommend the Duchy through Private or NHS Treatment, I was through the NHS .

Laparoscopic Gallbladder Removal (Cholecystectomy)

As mentioned previously I am extremely impressed with the whole process

Hip Replacement (Hip Arthroplasty)

Hip Resurfacing

I saw Dr Norton after seeing many physios who could not help me. I was with him for approximately two minutes when he diagnosed the problem. He was so knowledgeable and professional and advised the right route for me going forward. The relief I felt afterwards was unbelievable. He also gave great advice leading up to my surgery and has a you tube channel explaining ever thing you would want to know which I am already watching. For the first time in almost a year I am excited about getting back to being myself!!

Total Knee Replacement

I was warmly welcomed and made to feel at ease, shown my x-ray that allowed me to see how the joint had been repaired. I was told that if I had further concerns I could get in touch. I was advised to continue with the physiotherapy which I will certainly do.

Osteotomy

Ulnar Shortening

Wrist Pain

Mr Al-Shawi was fantastic again, as were all of the staff and professionals i saw. He always explains things clearly, has a friendly manner and next steps are confirmed during the appointment which is brilliant. The facilities are amazing at the hospital too.
