Aisling Freir is an experienced Musculoskeletal and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist at Pure Sports Medicine Kensington with experience in both Ireland and the UK. Graduating with Honours (BSc) from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, Aisling commenced her career in Dublin's private practice, where her passion for Spinal Rehab and Women's Health flourished. She furthered her expertise through postgraduate studies in Urinary Incontinence, Pilates, and Strength and Conditioning.
In 2018, Aisling served as the Head Physiotherapist for a medical team guiding 12 teenagers with scoliosis to summit Kilimanjaro, earning recognition as the Patient Education Project of the Year at the Irish Healthcare Awards 2019. Transitioning to London, she assumed the role of Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at Pure Sports Medicine.
Observing a lack of emphasis on pelvic health in the rehabilitation process for female athletes, Aisling pursued further studies. In 2021, she became a Mummy MOT® training tutor, teaching postnatal rehabilitation and recovery to physiotherapists, osteopaths, and other healthcare professionals. Additionally, she established a pelvic health service at Pure Sports Medicine and has been developing this service company wide as their Head of Women's Health. She is currently completing her M.Sc. in Brunell University in Pelvic Health. Aisling's primary goal is to empower women by instilling confidence in their bodies through exercise.

Ash is extremely knowledgeable and also caring, excellent hands on physio treatment given and good advice and helpful exercises
I truly cannot thank Jessica Zaayman (Pure Raynes Park) and Aisling Freir (Pure Kensington) enough. After having my twins full term three years ago, I spent a long time “getting by” and assuming that certain symptoms were simply my new normal. Jessica and Aisling worked together seamlessly. They listened, supported me, and developed a clear, structured plan tailored to my needs. Within just a few months, the improvements have been significant. Their professionalism and the quality of care I received have been exceptional. I am genuinely grateful for the difference their work has made to my day-to-day life and wellbeing. I highly recommend both Jessica and Aisling.
She helped me obtain a better understanding of where I was at in my postpartum recovery and where I needed support. She gave me helpful guidance on c-section massage as well as easy floor exercises to remediate my ab separation. She was kind and gentle and very understanding of the mental and physical challenges that can arise following childbirth.
Amazing attention to detail and expertise in the field, good holistic thinker, attentive and kind and good crack, thanks loads
I saw Aisling initially for back pain but she quickly worked out I had broader issues with my core after multiple caesareans and a lot of fear of hurting my body. She was totally understanding and it gave me the confidence to start doing the physio I'd needed for ages! I'd recommend her in particular to any woman whose feeling nervous about tackling things. There's hope!
Just wanted to say a big thank you to Aisling for all the work to date. So many aches, twinges and feelings I just assumed I’d have to accept and am now noticing a huge difference in my day-to-day. Aisling always listens out for the tiniest details and adapts the plan to what feels manageable in daily life.
I want to say thank you to Miss Aisling for being the most gentle, kind, supportive, and understanding physiotherapist in the entire world! Not only did she help me heal my hip joint problem, but she also guided me with her deep knowledge of the female body - its muscles, organs, and how everything is intricately connected to the trauma our bodies can hold from past experiences, both emotional and physical. She showed me how we can retrain both the body and mind to break free from the pain that affects us on every level. She is an incredibly good listener and quite literally caught me at one of the hardest moments of my life. I encourage all women not to ignore their physical pain, feelings, or thoughts. Work on it. We all deserve a better, healthier life! Thank you!
Aisling has been a fantastic physio for my complex post partum pelvic organ prolapse and hip pain. Following a challenging birth, I was left with a number of complications due largely to a forceps delivery and lack of after care. Aisling was supportive and compassionate in her care. She was diligent in understanding the full picture and providing a holistic approach to recovery.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am so glad you have progressed so well in your recovery.
Aisling has been exemplary. She is both friendly and professional which is a difficult trick to pull off. I would recommend her to anyone.
Aisling is a brilliant, conscientious and empathetic physio. She treats her patients holistically and is a particular expert in women’s health. She looks after her patients with dignity and instils confidence in them to get a full return to activity.
