Dr Ahmed Al-nowfal

Dr Ahmed Al-nowfal is a highly regarded Consultant Radiologist who specialises in complex diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive interventional procedures. With a clinical focus that spans genitourinary, vascular, and oncological imaging, he is dedicated to providing precise diagnostics and advanced image-guided therapies. Dr Al-nowfal works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that patients receive comprehensive, tailored care, particularly in the management of complex vascular and cancer conditions.

Dr Al-nowfal obtained his primary medical qualification, a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside an intercalated Bachelor of Science with Honours, from the University of London in 2014. Following his graduation, he completed his specialist radiology training across the United Kingdom. He then undertook an advanced fellowship in Interventional Radiology at a prestigious London teaching hospital, alongside specialised cross-sectional imaging training to further refine his expertise in complex cancer diagnostics. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR).

In his clinical practice, Dr Al-nowfal performs a wide range of advanced, minimally invasive procedures designed to offer targeted treatment with faster recovery times. His areas of expertise include tumour ablation, prostate artery embolisation, fibroid embolisation, and pulmonary thrombectomy, as well as routine diagnostic services such as general ultrasound and cross-sectional imaging. Alongside his clinical commitments, he is actively involved in medical education and clinical research, contributing to peer-reviewed publications and national healthcare programmes.
