Dr Abigail Le Bas

Dr Abigail Le Bas is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality, and patient-centred care for women across all stages of life. Holding senior clinical leadership roles, including serving as a Specialty Lead, Dr Le Bas combines clinical expertise with a reassuring approach to support patients through both routine health checks and complex reproductive health concerns.

In her daily practice, Dr Le Bas provides expertise across a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological conditions. Her key areas of clinical focus include outpatient hysteroscopy, urgent gynaecological referrals, emergency gynaecology, and general gynaecological care. Furthermore, she maintains a strong commitment to maternal safety and high-risk obstetric management, with particular clinical involvement in standardising acute care protocols for postpartum haemorrhage and enhancing overall patient safety.

Dr Le Bas completed her medical education at St George's, University of London, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). She is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and holds full specialist registration. Alongside her clinical duties, Dr Le Bas actively contributes to departmental clinical governance, quality improvement, and the training and supervision of junior medical staff to ensure high standards of patient care.
