His clinical interests also extend to psychosexual medicine, vulval pain conditions such as vulvodynia and vestibulodynia, and the management of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy, including hyperemesis gravidarum. Dr Abdelrahman completed his medical training at Queen's University Belfast, qualifying with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BCh BAO) in 2009. He went on to complete his specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in Northern Ireland, followed by advanced subspecialty fellowship training in urogynaecology. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Education, a Diploma in Psychosexual Medicine (DIPM), and a Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH). Dr Abdelrahman is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and is an active member of the International Urogynecological Association (IUGA).
