About The Regenerative Clinic

The Regenerative Clinic provides treatments for orthopaedic injuries, sports injuries, arthritis and other degenerative conditions. The Clinic uses some of the most advanced treatments in the world to optimise the healing process. The procedures are carried out by a team of leading orthopaedic surgeons and specialists who use the most advanced minimally invasive and non-surgical procedures to avoid the need for traditional surgery.

The clinic can offer consultations, treatments and rehabilitation and stress the importance of assessing the outcomes of their patients' treatments to support the growth of research in this field of healthcare. They have designed their treatments to allow you to get back to your normal levels of activity as soon as possible. Using your own tissue and blood platelets, they can effectively heal damaged muscles, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, discs and bones.

Your path to recovery begins with an assessment with one of their leading consultants, who will discuss the best treatment for your condition and continue to manage your care throughout the process.

The clinic offers the following forms of treatment:

Micro-fragmented fat (MFAT): A minimally invasive treatment which utilises natural repair cells found in your own body fat to target problems in your tendons, ligaments, joint and muscles. The treatment can be used on conditions such as osteoarthritis and has already been used to help over 20,000 patients worldwide with life-changing results.

Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC): is a non-surgical, minimally invasive, regenerative treatment that harnesses the natural ability to heal the body through the assistance of biological growth factors. BMAC utilises the regenerative mesenchymal stromal cells collected from bone marrow to aid in the acceleration of healing moderate to severe osteoarthritis and tendon injuries.

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP): PRP is an effective treatment for sports injuries as it uses your own cells to support the body's natural healing process. It is used to reduce pain and reduce healing time, allowing the patient to return to normal activity levels more quickly.

nSTRIDE® Autologous Protein Solution: The nSTRIDE APS injection treatment is designed to alleviate pain and bring balance back to your inflamed knee joint by introducing high levels of “good” proteins concentrated from your own blood. These good proteins can block the “bad” proteins responsible for the inflammatory condition in your joint. At the same time, nSTRIDE APS also concentrates growth factors which are beneficial for cartilage health.

Gold Induced Cytokines (Goldic): Cytokines are a broad and loose category of small proteins that are important in cell signalling, regulating the growth and differentiation of cells. They play an important role in immunological reactions and inflammatory processes. It stimulates the body‘s own regeneration capacity.

Pain Relieving Injections: Injections are often used for pain relief as they can deliver treatment directly to the area of pain in the body. The Regenerative Clinic provides steroid injections as well as Viscoelastic Supplements using OESTINEL® PLUS (a long-lasting and effective pain relieving injection) and CINGAL® (a highly effective pain injection, combining hyaluronic acid with a fast-acting steroid).

Tenex: The Tenex system relieves the symptoms of chronic tendon pain (tendinopathies) and soft tissue injuries cause by prolonged repetitive trauma. The procedure is a non-surgical alternative that utilises high-frequency vibration and a specialised tool to remove accumulated scar tissue. The removal of scar tissue promotes the restoration of mobilty and blood cirulation, encouraging the formation and regrowth of healthy tissue.

Shockwave Therapy: A modern and highly effective treatment used in orthopaedic and rehabilitation medicine. Shockwave Therapy uses acoustic waves to carry high energy to painful spots and myoskeletal tissues with subacute, sub-chronic and chronic conditions. Shockwave Therapy is used to promote regeneration and repair in bones, tendons and other soft tissues.

Hydro dilatation: Hydro dilatation is a treatment recommended for joints that are painful and stiff due to scar tissue. The Hydro dilatation procedure involves injecting a fluid into the joint space which expands the space, breaking up scar tissue and loosening the joint. The entire procedure takes about 15 minutes, and the full effect of the treatment can be seen in about 6 weeks.

Bracing: Orthopaedic braces and splints protect, stabilise, support and correct injuries or abnormal alignment through the process of rehabilitation and recovery. Our team of specialists will work with you to determine the level of stability, type of support, function and fit that the orthopaedic brace should provide. We recommend the best brace for you.

Coolief Cooled Radiofrequency (CRF) Treatment: An effective, non-surgical option within reach of those suffering from chronic pain. It is a minimally invasive, non-surgical procedure which targets the root cause of the pain and eliminates it before it can have an impact. A small probe transmits thermal radiofrequency energy, which heats the tissue directly to block the nerves that cause pain. The advancement of CRF is the circulation of water through the device, which treats an area of nervous tissue that is approximately five times larger than the outdated RF (radiofrequency) method. Cooled radiofrequency is more precise and enables doctors to target the exact nerves with greater flexibility – something that was not always possible with standard RF.
