About Osteopath West
Osteopath West is an osteopathy and injury rehabilitation clinic based at Spring Bridge Mews in Ealing, West London. Established in 2010 by former international squash champion Lisa Opie MBE, MOst, BSc, the clinic provides assessment and treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including knee, hip and ankle pain, sports injuries, spinal conditions and sciatica. The clinic has developed a multidisciplinary network and works alongside personal trainers, massage therapists and acupuncturists within the local area.
Osteopath West is also the first clinic in Ealing to offer IDD Therapy, a non-invasive spinal decompression treatment designed for patients with herniated discs, sciatica, spinal stenosis and chronic back or neck pain. The clinic uses the Accu SPINA IDD Therapy system as part of a structured programme aimed at reducing pressure on affected spinal segments, improving mobility and supporting long-term recovery. IDD Therapy is offered alongside manual osteopathic treatment, exercise prescription and rehabilitation.
The osteopathy service includes evaluation and diagnosis of musculoskeletal problems using manual therapy techniques such as mobilisation, manipulation, stretching and soft tissue work. Treatment plans may also incorporate breathing-based techniques, exercise guidance and onward referral when required. Conditions commonly managed include back and neck pain, joint pain, muscular spasms, arthritic and rheumatic pain, and symptoms related to respiratory, circulatory or digestive issues.
The clinic offers injury rehabilitation services, including tailored exercise programmes to support recovery and restore functional movement. In addition to its Ealing location, treatment is also provided across Acton and Chiswick. Appointments are available with flexibility, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
