I recently underwent laser eye surgery at the beginning of February under the care of Mr Goel and I couldn’t be happier with the experience and results. From the first consultation, he took the time to explain the different types of laser eye surgery on offer and clearly explained the benefits and risks, what to expect in terms of outcomes and tailored the information to my individual circumstance. I felt like all my questions were answered with patience and I never felt rushed. Mr Goel’s assistant is very friendly and also very informative. On the day I had the surgery, the team really put me at ease by everything being handled efficiently and calmly. The only thing that could’ve gone better was that the machine that is used to perform the procedure needed recalibrating after I had already laid down which made me feel slightly more apprehensive. The aftercare has also been excellent. I was given easy to follow instructions about how to use the different eye drops and each appointment has been tailored to my individual needs. I would highly recommend Mr Goel to anyone considering this surgery.

Recent cataract surgery and correction of vision with extended depth of focus lens implants in both eyes. The outcome for me has been excellent to the point where I no longer require spectacles for any activity. Mr Goel carried out the surgery and before/after consultations and was very thorough and professional whilst maintaining a friendly and personable manner. The whole team at Spire Hospital Hull were professional, friendly and caring. I was referred by Jane Grey (opticians in Anlaby) very thorough and professional and again with a friendly and personable manner.

I continue to see Mr Goel on a yearly basis for my eye appointments. The whole team are extremely friendly and caring. They always ease any anxieties I have and are thorough in checking my vision and response to the lens implants I had done some years ago.

My lens replacement to remove cataracts and correct short sight has been a great success. I have both distance and near vision without glasses. Mr Goel is an excellent surgeon and also a friendly person. Highly recommended.

I was very pleased with the treatment I received from Staff and Mr.Goel. The only comment I can make is the day of my treatment I waited over an hour and it was only that I made enquires into the delay that I was told there was a problem with a patient, it would have been in order that I was informed of the delay.

I had my laser eye surgery with Dr S Goel at Spire Hospital, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. At just 21, I was naturally very nervous about going ahead with the procedure. However, Dr Goel and his optician were incredibly reassuring from the very beginning. My initial consultation lasted around two hours and involved a thorough range of scans and tests to ensure I was a suitable candidate. They even arranged a second opinion with a third party optician to confirm that all results were consistent, which really put my mind at ease and gave me full confidence in moving forward. The surgery itself was quick and straightforward. Throughout the procedure, Dr Goel communicated with me constantly, which really helped calm my nerves as he could clearly sense how anxious I was feeling. The aftercare has been outstanding. I had a 24-hour follow up to check everything was healing well, clear reminders about my medication, a 7 day check up, and a 3 week review. I also received phone calls in between to help organise my appointments, which really showed how much they care about their patients’ recovery. This surgery has genuinely been life changing for me, and I cannot recommend Dr Goel highly enough.

I decided to have lense replacement as was fed up of using glasses and contact lenses . I went with Mr Goel as felt he was best suited for my needs. He was very friendly and gave me all the facts / options before making the decision . I was very pleased with the outcome as no longer need glasses for distance or near vision .

Very Professional and friendly service. Multiple tests to assess eyes and give the best advice going forward. Very pleased with the results. Mr Goel was excellent through the entire process.
