I could not have wished for a better experience or outcome. I had spent some time researching the right surgeon and I was impressed by Mr Goels reviews. His experience extended way beyond my procedure and I wanted my surgery at a UK hospital by a qualified surgeon. At our first meeting he explained what he could do to reduce the excess skin on my eyelids. He talked me through all the options and his recommendations. I also understood what he could correct and what to expect post surgery. We discussed my reasons for surgery, he checked my eye health and I left feeling very confident and reassured. I was provided with information around risks, aftercare and timescales. I had a second appointment before my surgery to run over key points and for me to ask any questions. I was very nervous on the day of surgery but he quickly put me at ease. I am absolutely delighted with my results and only wish I'd done it sooner.

Every part of my treatment was explained in detail and carried out in a very professional way.

Good explanations

I was referred to Mr Quah for removal of my cataracts in both eyes . From the very 1st appointment, I felt very confident that I had been referred to the right consultant. Mr Quah has a very friendly, approachable style, and explains what is going to happen and how the process works in a very clear and understandable way without being too technical or alternatively sounding patronising. On the day of the procedure all the staff, from Reception to discharge were efficient, professional and very kind. During the procedure Mr Quah talked through what was happening as he did it and was extremely patient and gentle. The procedure itself was painless and I found it fascinating. I felt reassured all the way through. My sight is so greatly improved that I only need glasses to read small print and fine detail. To say I am thrilled is an understatement.

Mum had surgery for cataracts on both eyes and lens correction. She did not have to wait long for an appointment is and very happy with the outcome.

I was really nervous about having a cataract removed but soon relaxed as everyone was so friendly and put me at ease. Mr Goel was friendly and the operation was soon done. After having both eyes done I cannot recommend them enough. Fantastic. My sight is the best it's ever been for a long time and I thank Mr Goel and his team.

Very good would recommend

Recently had lens replacement in both eyes. Everything was explained clearly and plenty of time given for any questions to be answered. Treatment went well and plenty of recovery instructions given both verbaly and writen. All staff in Wilmslow and Abergele extremely polite and helpful.
