I was looking for an excellent surgeon who could perform a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy , due to multiple large fibroids. It was paramount I found someone who had such experience, but more importantly, that they were methodical to the highest of standards. What hugely impressed me about Ms Mackintosh in particular was that 1) she works for both the NHS and private sector (the NHS has the highest standardsin clinical care, so that was very reassuring), 2) she is an oncologist gynaecologist surgeon - for me, the very fact she specialises in Oncology Gynaecology (I didn't have cancer personally) implies the highest standards of care, knowledge and surgical expertise you'd want from a surgeon - whether you have cancer or not and 3) I found her very professional, empathic, attentive and consistent in her care and approach. Ms Mackintosh also took the time out to come and see me, every day, whilst I was in hospital. I felt very reassured by this, especially because she checked with the nurses and doctors if everything had been done necessary - and proper- to facilitate my release from hospital. Ms Mackintosh is very assertive in her approach, and this stems from significant experience and a quiet confidence in her ability. This is what I wanted post operation- to know someone cared, would do a stellar job and that everything was being done properly by all hospital staff. She has high expectations of these she works with. I don't normally go to such lengths to write testimonials, but having major surgery at 43 was a massive deal to me, and it's important that other women make informed choices from such testimonials. My recovery is going extremely well with no complications post op with either my vertical incision or removal of cervix (from my personal experience). And that's all down to how methodical and patient Ms Mackintosh was in performing my surgery. She has honestly saved my life from a miserable existence.

I saw Mr Jadhav previously in Jan 2023. So felt comfortable to see him again. He explained everything clearly and happily answered my questions.

Dr. Amiry is so kind and compassionate. She explains everything thoroughly, ensuring that nothing is ever too much trouble. She provides ample time and patience, addressing all worries with care and understanding.

Friendly and informative and gave clear understandable diagnosis and treatment plan.

Mr clerk was positive, reassuring, patient kind. He took his time to listen our problems and took the time to explain things throughly in the way we could understand. Information and appointments quick and efficient. Would definatly recommend.
