I really cannot recommend Dr Nickkho-Amiry highly enough. She is a wonderful obstetric and gynaecology consultant who played an important role in the safe and happy arrival of our baby daughter. I first consulted Dr Nickkho-Amiry at the start of my fertility journey, after my husband and I had struggled with infertility and miscarriages. She was genuinely empathetic and took time to explore all of our concerns. She was extremely knowledgeable and managed to explain the complexities of fertility in such a straightforward and understandable way. I particularly appreciated how up-to-date she was on recent guidelines and treatments. She explained the potential steps involved in fertility treatment in a very systematic manner and I only wish we had spoken to her sooner. From the very first meeting we had with her, I felt much less anxious about undergoing fertility treatment, and this was largely due to her caring and kind manner. She walked us through the process of IVF and at all times she was reassuring but measured. What impressed me the most about Dr Nickkho-Amiry was the level of compassion and continuity that she provided. She contacted me after we received any unexpected test results or if we had any concerns, and discussed these at length. During the period that I consulted with her, she provided me with advice and guidance on a number of issues including PCOS, miscarriages, IVF and subsequently (and thankfully) pregnancy. I am so incredibly grateful for her help and support and I can’t think of anyone else I would like to see more if we decide to have another baby via fertility treatment.
