Great care and help the whole time

I’ve given Mr Abdul-Jabar 5 stars on all points. He explained what my problem was by showing me the x rays. He answered all my questions about how he would do the hip replacement and what to expect afterwards. On follow up we discussed my difficulty reaching my foot and gave further advice on that. His manner is calm, kind and extremely supportive. I hope not to need to see him again but will certainly return to him if I need further hip or knee surgeries in the future.

He has Been excellent on all my visits to him

Mr Al-Obaidi is an exceptional person. He explained the process, pros and cons and most of made me feel less anxious and less fearful. Mr Al-Obaidi has a calm and gentle manner, he listened intently and addressed all my concerns and questions fully.

Mr Henry Atkinson is a very approachable, professional and extremely competent surgeon. Eight weeks ago, he replaced my 73-year-old arthritic right hip. From my first meeting with him to the last, his friendly, communicative demeaner, and willingness to answer fully all my numerous questions about the procedure, put me at ease and gave me great confidence in his professional abilities and experience. This view was well founded as the operation was a great success and my recovery amazingly speedy. Marks? Definitely an 11 out of 10!

Mr Houlihan-Burne took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions during the consultations, and via email, and had a bedside manner that put me at ease.

Dr Imbuldeniya demonstrated a great deal of experience in his field. From the outset he put me at ease explaining his prognosis and the available options for intervention. Throughout the whole process he was professional and demonstrated a great deal of care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

I was referred to Mr Ghosh by another Consultant who I was informed undertook half knee replacements that I had been advised I should consider having. Mr Ghosh confirmed this would be the best option, showed me my MRI and the damage to my knee and that he was happy to perform the operation. This was scheduled for just 3 weeks later. I received a detailed explanation of what the operation entailed and the possible issues that may arise. I met with Mr Ghosh both pre op and after it had been performed and then again 6 weeks later. He gave me very good advice concerning post operative physiotherapy and that my recovery was very much in my own hands. I'm very please to say I have made a rapid recovery. I considered I was in expert hands throughout and very pleased with the outcome.
