Mr Verganis is exceptionally professional and kind. Obviously he has a wealth of experience and is an expert in his field. I’m truly grateful for the relief I feel from all the symptoms I had previously and some I haven’t mentioned. I was about to make an appointment for an assessment relating to restless leg syndrome as I was experiencing constant twitching and restlessness in both legs whenever I lay down. All that, was stopped due to the op. I’m pleased to say that since my operation the twitching and restlessness is also gone. Mr Andrew James was very honest and approachable. His explanations and professionalism were exemplary and left me feeling like I was in safe hands. There was no push to have surgery, I had been given clear options as how to proceed which made me feel extremely comfortable with the procedure. I was made to feel very relaxed and comfortable with my procedure on the day which went smoothly with great success. The after care I received was fantastic, I was also given more of an insight to my procedure with the X-rays taken, so I left feeling 100% confident that I had the best surgeon taking care of me.

I was very nervous about having an operation on my spine but Mr. Prezerakos's thorough explanation of my medical situation and how the operation would be conducted gave me the confidence to go ahead with the procedure. He didn't deny that there could be complications but his clear explanation helped me to realise that these were manageable risks and that the benefits outweighed the relatively minor chances of something not going to plan. The outcome has been incredible, whereas before the operation I could only walk a short distance without needing to rest because of the pain around my hips and thighs, I now have no pain whatsoever when walking and only minor discomfort around the incision wound, its just over 4 weeks since I had the operation and I'm confident that even that small discomfort will soon be a distant memory.
