Mr Lamb explained things very well, took the time for all my questions and had a very reassuring bedside manner. He helped organise a follow up scan I needed at the appointment and was clear about my ongoing care and what the next steps should be.

Despite my diagnosis Professor PS made the whole experience as easy as possible for me. He explained everything fully and in simple terms. He advised on both preparation for, and post operation. Both credible and reliable PSs level of confidence was very reassuring to me throughout; he always did what he said he would do which is very rare these days. He genuinely had my best interests at heart at all points of our conversations and was always available. Whilst succint, PS has an excellent 'bedside' manner and where appropriate could inject humour to a conversation. It was also clear to me that PS was respected and well liked by the team. He also scheduled a follow-up appointment in three months to monitor my progress. I appreciated that he provided clear instructions and took the time to ensure I understood everything.
