I recently underwent surgery for an island flap reconstruction around a lesion site on my lower left leg, as well as a sentinel lymph node biopsy in my left groin. I am pleased to share my experience and provide a review of the procedure. My experience with the island flap reconstruction and sentinel lymph node biopsy was positive, and I am grateful for the expertise of Mr Damir Kosutic and the surgical team, my recovery is going very well. Mr Kosutic is a detailed surgeon and explains everything in an easy to digest manner, putting you at ease straight away. I am happy with my overall experience.

Mr Chris Duff has done a great job with my recent biopsy, leaving a very small, neat scar. These things are always worrying for a patient, but I was put at ease by Mr Duff and his lovely, caring team . Mr Duff explained the procedure in detail, and possible outcomes, and took the time to listen to my concerns, answering my many questions both before and after my procedure, in a very professional and kindly manner.

I cannot praise Dr Bedford enough as he was caring, polite and very easy to talk to. Nothing was too much trouble. He was eager to make sure I was happy and satisfied with everything. The after care was equally very satisfactory. I would also like to mention Dr Bedfords team Helen (Secretary) who rang when she said she would and kept me fully informed all the way through.
