Mr Sharma is a highly experienced UK trained Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon with a private practice based at The Grosvenor Nuffield Hospital Chester and Spire Murrayfield Hospital.
In his NHS practice he is the Clinical Lead for the plastic surgery Department at The Countess of Chester Hospital where he is a core member of the skin, breast and orthoplastic multidisciplinary teams. He offers all aspects of plastic surgery and tailors bespoke treatment to the individual patient's needs. He is known for his attention to detail, his excellent bedside manner and professionalism as well as always delivering exceptional care to his patients. Mr Sharma is a fully accredited Consultant Plastic Surgeon and a member of BAAPS.
After graduating with honours from Cambridge University Medical School, Mr Sharma went back to teach Anatomy to the university medical students. He then completed his higher Plastic surgical training within the prestigious Pan Thames programme in London. Following this he was awarded the International Fellow position at the world renowned St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. During this tenure he gained invaluable experience into all fields of Plastic Surgery including Breast and Cosmetic Surgery.
Mr Sharma has also undertaken additional fellowships including the highly sought after Microsurgical Breast Fellowships in Chelmsford and the prestigious Wellington Cosmetic Fellowship. During this time he worked at the some of the country's top private hospitals, including The Wellington Hospital and King Edward VII Hospital. This extensive world class training has enabled Mr Sharma to offer his patients the latest and safest plastic surgery techniques from across the world.
Alongside his clinical work he is actively involved in research. He has published extensively and presented his work internationally. He was heavily involved with the world's first documented four DIEP breast reconstruction free flaps in four different patients in one day in a single operating theatre

My experience with Mr Sharma truly felt one of a kind. He has put me at ease every step of the way and made sure I have been comfortable and happy throughout. From his continued support pre surgery to his personal after care it has been second to none and I can’t thank him enough. I am delighted with my results.

Mr Sharma has been outstanding from the start, nothing has ever been too much trouble for him and the care that I have received throughout my treatment has been second to none. I was quite anxious about the whole thing and Mr Sharma took his time to explain everything, checking on me regularly when I was back home. I cannot thank you enough Mr Sharma for transforming my body and for the care that you have provided for me.

From the initial consultation to the operation to the follow up appointments, Mr Sharma explained the whole procedure in depth and with such care. I felt extremely reassured. Mr Sharma gave me a lot of his time , always checking that I understood and drew diagrams to substantiate his explanations. His follow up care was also excellent including a telephone call the next day to check how I was after the operation. His bedside manner was wonderful and I am very grateful for his time , his expertise , his professionalism and his care .

Mr Sharma is extremely professional and was very knowledgable with regards to my procedure of breast explant. He explained fully the pros and cons of my procedure and ensured I fully understood everything he had explained to me before going ahead with treatment. Everything discussed is documented and you are given a copy. Mr Sharma is very calm and confident in his approach to patients which made me feel even more like I was in safe hands. I knew straight away I wanted him to carry out my procedure. Mr Sharma gave me a clear treatment plan with specific aftercare/medication and Mr Sharma will check in with you every step of the way to check everything is going ok during and after your treatment. I would not hesitate to use Mr Sharma in future and would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of having breast surgery. I think he is absolutely excellent at what he does!
