About Miss Shan Shan Jing
Born in Shanghai and raised in the UK, Dr. Shan Shan Jing is a fully qualified British Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in hand and nerve surgery, as well as aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. She graduated from University College London (UCL) with multiple awards, distinctions, and first-class honours, completing her initial training at leading Plastic Surgery centres in London and Chelmsford.
Dr. Jing's commitment to advanced specialty training has taken her across the US, Europe, and Asia, where she trained with some of the world's leading plastic, hand, and aesthetic surgeons. This extensive experience earned her the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and equipped her with a diverse skill set, ensuring the highest quality of service for her patients.
She pursued her passion for hand surgery through a Training Interface Group Fellowship in Hand Surgery and a specialist fellowship in peripheral nerve surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham. She holds the British Diploma in Hand Surgery from the BSSH and the University of Manchester, as well as the European Hand Diploma.
In addition to her expertise in hand surgery, Dr. Jing completed specialised cosmetic fellowships at esteemed institutes in Manchester and London and a Head and Neck microsurgery fellowship in New Zealand. Over the years, she has cultivated a unique aesthetic sensibility that prioritises natural, harmonious rejuvenation and enhancement, drawing from her rich experience in the fashion industry and years of studying art.
