Mr Gurjar was very informative at all times, before and after my operation. I felt very confident he would do a great job.

Mr Singhal took time to carefully understand my issue and perform appropriate tests to determine my underlying issue. He has a calm approach and was easy to listen and answer my questions.

I contacted Mr Al Chalabi via HCA after another consultant let me down, and I am very glad I did. He was able to see me for an initial consultation within 24 hours. The initial meeting was very useful, with Mr Al Chalabi explaining his diagnosis of my inguinal hernia clearly, giving me useful advice as to what not to do ahead my operation. He offered me an operation within a week of the consultation, but I took one two weeks later. His approach was excellent throughout - a good blend of professional and friendly. The operation went smoothly, and I have been left with limited pain and almost no swelling after the procedure. I almost feel lucky the first consultant let me down, and would recommend Mr Al Chalabi without hesitation.

He was very knowledgeable and explained everything really well to both myself and my daughter. Taking the time to ensure we understood everything.

He helped me understand the issues and mapped out how to fix the situation very clearly.

Barry is just the best - kind, funny - I mean who wants to talk poop with someone you don’t really know and he explains things so you can help yourself to feel better, with long-term solutions as well. After a bad experience at another London hospital after the birth of my son and my bowel stopped working post-c-section Barry is a godsend and has put my mind at rest with the symptoms I’m experiencing.
