Together with my wife and son, he took the time needed to carefully explain his assessment of my case and the forward treatment alternatives. We elected that I should undergo a complex surgery with a lengthy recovery time after he laid out the alternatives, the relative risks and his forward recommendation. Professor Frampton explained everything thoroughly and in a way easy to understand for someone without medical knowledge. He listened to concerns and reassured throughout the process and answered all my questions promptly and clearly. His care on the day of my procedure was exceptional, both before, during and after, and he also took time to talk to my husband and keep him fully updated on how things had gone. This was especially appreciated as the procedure had been more challenging than anticipated. Following my operation, I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a call at home the next day from Professor Frampton to check on how I was doing and when I had some concerns during my recovery the following week, he called me again late at night for advice and reassurance.

Barry is just the best - kind, funny - I mean who wants to talk poop with someone you don’t really know and he explains things so you can help yourself to feel better, with long-term solutions as well. After a bad experience at another London hospital after the birth of my son and my bowel stopped working post-c-section Barry is a godsend and has put my mind at rest with the symptoms I’m experiencing. Thank you Barry, in the nicest possible way I hope to not sit in your consulting room again. :)
