5 days post mastopexy and implant exchange review. With the amazing Simon Smith (both times) May 2017 - Under muscle 550cc Harley Medical Group To April 2024 - Under muscle 725cc Springfield Hospital Uplift with donut scars (he is amazing!) Recovery has been incredible. Was down in OR at 0930, out in recovery by 1230, my room by 1330 starving hungry inhaling the most amazing tasting sandwich.. home by 1700h. I had Niven as my anaesthetist this time (Hywell in 2017) who was so lovely, and the most amazing cocktail of drugs. The hospital was wonderful, and even better than the previous. The nurses were funny, kind and caring, and I met Sheena who was also wonderful. Not felt any pain at all, kept topped up on ibuprofen and paracetamol for day 2&3, just forgot how annoying post op anaesthetic bloat is..! Day 1 post op (Friday) had a shower and felt amazing, managed to get a proper look at them and removed the gauze, keeping the bra and binder on for 3 days, but felt even better once that was off. I can feel my nipples, and the lower breast area where the other scars are. There is the most minimal bruising, and obviously under the waterproof dressings there is some marker and blood hence the colour in the photos. I am so so so happy, and really glad Simon was able to go bigger and change the huge gap I had in the middle. I had my last BA in 2017 weighing around 12/13 stone, I then had a 360 body lift & arm lift in 2020, and I’ve got down to 9st2lb so my ribcage was prominent with a huge gap between. Now the pockets have been brought in they are even better. Can’t wait till they fluff!!! 🥰 #teamsimon

Ms Tzafetta is a miracle worker and on top of her game. I was extremely privileged to have had major facial reconstruction surgery from having the nerve removed from my leg and put into my face, which gave me all the confidence I needed to get on with my life. Just recently I came to Facemed knowing she carries out private work, where I had a brow lift and just 9 days in, the results are truly amazing. It is a year since my surgery, the only negative comment I can make is that I am sorry I did not go through with surgery sooner. I had researched the procedure for 3 years before making my decision. I thought if I could lose more weight my breasts would reduce, in fact they just grew larger. I also suffered with neck and back pain, more so over the past 5 years. Once I had found a surgeon, I thought I would be comfortable with, I made an appointment Ms Zweifel. From the first consultation I was confident I was doing the right thing for myself. I was not worried about the surgery, more so if it the result did not meet my expectations. I was also overthinking the procedure being classed as cosmetic surgery. After discussing this with Ms Zweifel I was reassured that the surgery would help with my posture, back pain and even more important my self-esteem, no longer embarrassed about the size of my breast. After Surgery I felt well, I spent 1 night in hospital. Once the drains were removed, I was allowed home. I took 2 weeks off work to rest and make sure my wounds could heel. I had an allergic reaction to the wound tape (glue) I was given antibiotics and had the tape removed as an outpatient. (This is an uncommon side effect) My wounds heeled quickly after this, after 6 months I started to wear non wired bras again fitted by Marks and Spencer. My Scars are amazing, the underneath scar you can-not see. The line going up towards the nipple is noticeable but very neat. My nipples were not affected in the slightest, I have sensation, smaller areolas pert and no viable scars!! My breast are symmetrical, I have reduced by 3 cup sizes. The results are perfect for my frame. Only last week I had my photo taken on a night out, in the past I would recoil at the size of my breasts in the picture, this time I commented on how good I looked I love that I can see me now and not my oversized breast. I would recommend Ms Zweifel to anyone considering this procedure, all cots are explained, not hidden charges. I paid one price which covered outpatient appointments when I had the allergic reaction, and as many consultations afterwards until discharged. Ms Zweifel is knowledgeable, reassuring, non-judgemental and an expert surgeon. I want to pass on my gratitude once again for giving me a new lease of life
