Mr Ayoub explained the whole process and subsequent outcome very thoroughly and answered any questions and concerns in detail. The surgery was on both eyes and the treatment was painless and took little time. All in all I felt I was in good hands all through the consultations and surgery and am very happy with the outcome. I researched many Opthalmologist when I developed PCO after having surgery elsewhere. I read that Mr Say Aun Quah had an excellent background and so I booked an appointment. He took the time to do a thorough examination of my eyes and after explaining everything to me we agreed that laser eye surgery was the only option to correct my condition. I booked in and although I was extremely nervous but he put me at ease. The laser eye surgery was totally painless and very successful. The difference in my eyesight was fantastic. I would definitely recommend Mr Say Aun Quah and would like to add that his staff are also extremely helpful and friendly. I felt informed and any questions I made via his secretary Amanda were immediately passed on and answered which made me feel at ease and a like a valued patient. Thank you!

Mr Dong Park is an outstanding Consultant Ophthalmologist and Vitreoretinal Surgeon, and is a miracle worker with exceptional ability. In January 2023, I was diagnosed with a severe retinal detachment (GRT). The prognosis I faced was retinal detachment surgery using silicone oil which would no doubt require further intervention at later stages of my life, or would leave me with vision impairment. As a teacher, and father, this was devastating news because being fairly young, this outcome was devastating for me and my family, and unquestionably life altering. However, Mr. Park explained to me that he would attempt to use a gas tamponade (which he pioneered in the UK) in the surgical treatment. My operation lasted 1 hour 30 mins and it was clear Mr Park’s surgical expertise was put to the test. Throughout I was impressed by Mr. Park’s professionalism, diligence and straight talking. After an extended period of posturing, a post op review concluded that my operation was a success. As a natural result of the Vitrectomy (Retinal Detachment Surgery), 6 months later I developed a cataract, which is something most patients develop. In my case, because I had a severe retinal detachment and had LASIK eye surgery to correct my vision back in 2008, I was going to require Complex Cataract Surgery by a talented Vitreoretinal Surgeon. I choose Mr Park because of his experience carrying out my retinal repair. Furthermore, I was prepared to travel from my home in Devon to the Midlands, which highlights the extent in which I valued Mr. Park’s ability. In April 2024, Mr Park carried out my Complex Cataract Surgery, which lasted 1 hour 10 mins. Two weeks later, I was discharged which is a testament to the minimal invasive procedures carried out by Mr Park. It must be concluded that Mr Park’s surgical procedures and operational precision aids and abets a swift healing process. The final results of my cataract surgery is a success. To conclude, when one is faced with the prospect of going blind, and/or visual impairment and then a person of Mr. Park’s ability operates, which results in getting your vision back, you are forever indebted to that person. I had a great experience with Lumivision! I had been wearing contact lenses for 15+ years and unfortunately suffered a corneal ulcer which in turn made me decide to look into laser surgery. I had a consultation with Mr Jain who advised that I wait a little longer before going ahead with the surgery to ensure that any infection had cleared up and give the scarring on my cornea time to heal as much as possible. He also advised that we move forward with LASEK so that any potential infection in the future would be easier treated. The surgery went very smoothly and the whole process was complete within 30 minutes. The whole team at Lumivision were incredibly welcoming and Mr Jain talked me through the process step by step as he completed the surgery. The healing process is slower than with LASIK and I was in pain for a few days afterwards with sensitivity to light but this was explained to me beforehand and Mr Jain gave me his personal number in case I needed to contact him for advice (I did not need to contact and made sure to get plenty of rest and use eye drops as directed!) My 6 month check up was last week and I now have 20/10 vision which is better than I had ever imagined! Dryness is very rare for me and I’m very happy that I went ahead with the surgery! My previous prescription was around -4.00 in each eye so the improvement is incredible!
