Mr Jain is one of the few surgeons in the UK that have a dual subspeciality interest in Cataract & Refractive Surgery as well as Medical Retina. His registrar training was undertaken in the North West of England and he has been a Consultant Opthamologist since 1995.
His experience means he has gained sufficient expertise in all areas ophthalmology and has gained further experience in the world renowned Gimble Eye Centre, Calgary, Canada. His experience means that he has dealt with a wide range of complex cataract cases.
Mr Jain has performed over 10,000 Laser Eye surgeries in the UK and Ireland and has Certification in Laser refractive Surgery from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. His subspeciality training means he is an expert in dealing with ophthalmic patients with medical conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. He is an advocate for use of ANTI-VEGF agents in the management of conditions such as Age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy and has performed over 3000 Intravitreal Injections.

Amazing from start to finish I like to visualise where it’s going to take place m, Mr Jain was happy to show me the theatre. No pressure to book at all. On hand to take calls at any time when I needed some advice. Can’t fault lumivison at all highly recommended.

I had Lasek surgery with Dr Jain in March. An excellent and experienced Dr with years of knowledge. Nothing was too much trouble. Dr Jain explained the procedure and I knew what to expect. Would highly recommend Dr Jain and his team at Lumivison.

It was smooth from start to finish. No sales patter just facts and information. Always on time no waiting. On the day of treatment it took 15 minutes, the treatment room was very organised with dr Jain leading and others assisting. I had dr Jains mobile no in case of any issues after the treatment (which I didn’t need to use). All very professional - I now have 20/20 vision - so happy!!!
