About Mr Dong Park
Mr Dong Park is a double board certified Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and an Honorary Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Warwick. He practices at the The Meriden Hospital, the Midland Eye private clinic, and the Retina Clinic London, Harley Street, and his current NHS posts include University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust and the Birmingham & Midland Eye Centre. Mr Park's surgical expertise encompasses all aspects of Cataract and Retinal surgery, and he is known for providing patients with safe, effective, and minimally invasive treatment for comprehensive eye conditions.
In addition, Mr Park is a Honorary Associate Professor and Clinical Tutor at the Warwick Medical School, University of Warwick. He teaches Medical students, Ophthalmology trainees, and Optometrists, and is a trainer for cataract and vitreoretinal surgery. He is also a keen researcher who has many peer-reviewed publications and has presented nationally and internationally.

With a history of eye issues I was nervous about a series of complex eye operations for which Mr Park had been recommended to me by my normal consultant. Mr.Park was able to assure me and explain carefully the treatment required. Throughout the consultations, the operations and the follow up checks I felt fully supported. Always timely for appointments and always made time to see me when urgency required it.
I had full confidence in seeing Mr Park about cataract surgery as he had previously treated a macular hole promptly and successfully in my other eye a year ago. I was dealt with professionally and the surgery went very well with no complications. Mr Park is easy to talk to and makes one feel at ease .
Felt completely at ease-enabling me to understand the options possible and giving me realistic information of what outcome I could expect. I can wholeheartedly recommend Mr Park.
Mr Dong Park is the authority in his field. He accommodated my VR surgery pre xmas as a priority and needed to reschedule other less critical ( cataract ) operations. Dong Parks explanation of my retinal tears pre and post operation was precise and understandable. I had 3 post operation follow up's and all confirmed restoration of my vision as he mapped out at the outset. He is defiantly an expert in his field and i would unreservedly trust his opinion and execution. I strongly believe i have regained my full eye sight as a direct result of his timely action.
