Mr Putnis gave me great confidence in the procedure, he put my mind to rest as I had been quite apprehensive. Each question I asked was met with a very full explanation in laymen’s terms. The scar is barely noticeable 4 weeks after the procedure due to the excellent skill of his suturing. I would highly recommend Mr Putnis to anyone who needs a great orthopaedic knee surgeon!

From the very first consultation I was filled with huge confidence that I had the best consultant. Mr Kempshall is a clear communicator and keeps you fully informed of what will happen and what should be expected. I had a half knee operation six weeks ago and next week start road cycling again. I have had little to no post operative pain but did use the physiolab which Mr Kempshall recommends. I cannot speak too highly of my treatment and already I am delighted with the result. Before the operation I was living with considerable knee pain. I believe that my treatment has been absolutely first class and I can only thank Mr Kempshall and his team.

Very charming and reassuring

Mr Dehne helped me to feel more relaxed about my procedure from the first appointment. After a long wait on the nhs and a lot of research into surgeons I going Mr Debbie and booked an appointment. The Emerson’s green hospital where he was based was over a 3 hour drive from my house but it was worth every minute. He made sure that I was first on the list for surgery due to my long commute and made sure I didn’t have to travel to more appointments than necessary. I required full acl reconstruction surgery and meniscus repair in my knee and he explained everything from how he would complete it, any complications there might be and talked through the injury itself to help me better understand how it happened and what it means for me in the future. He came to visit me post-op to see how I was doing and let me know that everything went well and he was pleased which put my mind at ease. I then had a follow up telephone call after 2 months and a face to face appointment after 4 months in which he praised me for how well I have recovered and encouraged me to get back to playing football when I’m ready and not to give it up just because of this injury. Mr Dehne was amazing throughout and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing surgery in his area
