The complete Orthopaedic Surgeon from start to finish. This frail 88 year old lady sailed through the procedure needing only minor analgesia after discharge. My leg is now straight again and I am enjoying the things I used to do. I recommend Mr Oakley without reservation.

His bed side manner is fantastic and he explains everything and really puts your mind at rest
4.5
Although I was somewhat nervous about the operation itself, Mr Oakley was super thorough - checking via Xray he explained the nuts and bolts of the job literally and made everything crystal clear. After the operation he came to see me and again to highlight one or two points but with a bit of humour which I appreciated. He is clearly a very experienced practitioner and told me that he does alot of joint replacement operations which in itself was reassuring My experience with regard to the operation was excellent and I'm looking forward to making a swift recovery Thank you Carol L.

Mr Oakley was friendly and always answered questions in a precise and understandable manner. I was given reassurance and good information about what to expect post surgery and recovery time, all of which were spot on. I feel no hesitation in returning to his clinic for surgery on my other knee.

Excellent attention to detail, the process fully explained from beginning to end with a successful outcome bilateral knee replacement.
