Mr Arshad Bhat

Mr Arshad Bhat is a highly experienced Consultant Urologist with a career spanning over two decades. Having completed his urology training in South East England, he achieved fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and earned a Master’s degree in Minimally Invasive Urology from Canterbury Christ Church University. Since his appointment at Hereford in 2018, Mr Bhat has become a leading specialist in the management of prostate-related disorders, pioneering advanced laser treatments for prostate enlargement in the region.

Mr Bhat offers expert care for a wide range of urological conditions. He specialises in diagnosing and managing prostate issues, including elevated PSA levels, prostate cancer investigations, and lower urinary tract symptoms in both men and women. His practice extends to treating urinary tract infections, blood in urine, scrotal swellings, and foreskin-related concerns such as circumcision. He is skilled in minimally invasive procedures, including transurethral resection of bladder tumours (TURBT), cystoscopy, and endoscopic kidney stone treatments.
