About Mr William Taylor
Mr Will Taylor is a Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in general urology and stone surgery (endourology). He completed his medical degree at the University of Birmingham in 2009 and undertook foundation and core surgical training within the West Midlands Deanery. He gained further specialist urological experience in Edinburgh, focusing on stone and urological cancer surgery, before returning to the West Midlands to complete higher surgical training. He was appointed as an NHS consultant in 2019 and currently works across urology services in Wolverhampton and Walsall.
Mr Taylor’s subspecialist practice is in urinary stone disease. He is a high-volume stone surgeon and regularly performs ureteroscopy for renal and ureteric calculi, percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) and extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL). His general urology practice includes prostate and bladder cancer diagnostics, PSA assessment, investigation of haematuria, management of benign prostatic hyperplasia and lower urinary tract symptoms, erectile dysfunction, recurrent urinary tract infections, foreskin conditions, and testicular and scrotal pathology.
He has a strong interest in medical education and completed a postgraduate diploma in medical education at the University of Birmingham in 2018. He previously served as postgraduate education lead at New Cross Hospital and is currently Clinical Lead for Urology across Wolverhampton and Walsall, contributing to service integration and pathway development within the Black Country Integrated Care System.

My recent visit was very good I had my pre operation on the Monday the 20th and everything thing was checked to see if the operation can go ahead they explained everything on the day of the surgery they did all the check again this was done several time to make sure they got everything before the operation and the surgeon came and spoke to me and explain what they were going to do
