I thankfully found Professor Vaidya as I wished to avoid having a full course of radiotherapy following a lumpectomy. Less than an hour after contacting him, he personally called me. Throughout this journey, he has always been professional, caring, supportive and answered every single question with total honesty. He with others, "pioneered" TARGET-IORT treatment and this is what I went had, having been identified as a suitable candidate. I have now been through successful surgery and I am convinced I have taken the very best course of treatment for me at this time with the personal support of Professor Vaidya and his team. He was able to explain to me just before the surgery what the procedure will entail and how many cuts will be made. He also explained I’ll have some side effects which is quite normal. He has met with me twice following the surgery and took very great care of me. I have had a great experience considering I was so scared that I’ll no longer be living with a gall bladder. I have no side effects and my body has adjusted so well.
