Parking was really bad, I had to double park and was worried I would get a ticket.

My stay at the priory was an incredibly positive one. It’s tough but the like skills gained are invaluable going forwards. The therapy team are incredibly strong, relatable and highly skilled. Every member of the staff from admissions and reception are incredibly helpful and the ward staff are simply amazing. I cannot speak too highly about the Priory staff. The food could have been a little better if I have one criticism.

Receptionists can sometimes be a little brusque, but otherwise very good overall.

I was admitted in December for addiction treatment. The therapy team were brilliant. All very welcoming and supportive. The program was very engaging and I gained a lot of support, advice, help and encouragement from every session. The After Care sessions and Self Help sessions are both very helpful after discharge. I am very grateful to all staff at the Priory for their support though a difficult time for me. Only negative was no hot water.

Priory's organisation seemed to be very good. The initial screening call seemed abrupt at the time and very clinical, but the staff member seemed knowledgeable and matched me with a great clinician. I had Kira as my clinician - from the very first session she created a very safe, welcoming space, explained very clearly the path forward we would take and maintained very clear communication throughout all my sessions. I had never tried or even heard of EMDR and she explained it in a way that was very easy to understand and also the reason behind each of the steps and actions. She was very kind, knowledgeable and I felt that the priority was my health above all.
