I was made to wait for about an hour and I had to pay AED 800 + medicine for a 5 minute consultation with the dentist after being redirected by the ENT specialist because they didn’t think that my ear pain was due to infection but rather due to something related to my jaw. The dentist suggested I get a mouth guard, which would have been another AED 2500 out of pocket, to which I said I would get back to them after talking to insurance. All in all, I came back from the hospital with just pain medication which was not covered by my insurance and no solution for my hurting ear. Will not be coming back. All staff however were very polite and helpful.

As a process once we are done with the doctor, we need to visit the cashier before leaving but for certain insurance it is completely covered and if it is not covered nurse always informs on the additional charge. If there is no payment you shouldnt be asking the people to queue up for cashier because you already have a long wait and just to get a stamp on the registration paper and a acknowledgment of nothing is required we are expected to wait 10-15 minutes.
