I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the recent experience my son and I had at your Barjuman branch. We have been visiting your clinic for over a year, and my son has been under the care of ENT Specialist Dr. Sumaiya Sujahan, who has been treating him for a recurring issue involving cold, fever, nasal congestion, and throat infection. Her treatment has always been effective, and we have consistently trusted your clinic because of her care. However, when I called yesterday to make an appointment, I was informed that Dr. Sumaiya has been transferred and that her replacement is Dr. Tina. As my son was unwell, we had no option but to continue at your clinic since his full medical history is already recorded there. Unfortunately, our experience with the new doctor was extremely disappointing. Despite my son’s fever and weakness, we had to wait a long time due to insurance processing issues. When we finally met Dr. Tina, the consultation lasted only a few seconds. She stated it was likely influenza and abruptly directed us to a general physician, without reviewing any of my son’s prior medical records — even though they are stored within your system. The general physician we were redirected to also conducted a very brief assessment, ordered a swab test, prescribed basic medication, and concluded the visit. There was no effort to understand my son’s long medical history, which has been fully documented at your clinic for over a year. As a parent and as a professional (I am the General Manager of a 4-star hotel in Deira), I found this entire experience deeply upsetting and below the standard of care expected from a reputed medical facility. The doctors barely communicated, did not review medical history, and showed minimal concern for the patient’s condition or comfort. My son is in Grade 9 and has upcoming exams this week. His health condition should have been managed carefully, not handled with such haste and indifference. I request you to kindly look into this matter seriously, review the conduct of both doctors, and ensure patients’ medical histories are always considered before making any diagnosis or referral. I would also appreciate a formal response regarding how this issue will be addressed to prevent such experiences in the future.

I am submitting this formal complaint to express my strong objection to the additional consultation fee I was unfairly charged during my recent visit. Both doctors I initially consulted explicitly requested that I undergo an ultrasound examination. I did not request or schedule this test on my own initiative. The appointment was arranged by your affiliated diagnostic center, which determined the date based on their own availability — not mine. After completing the ultrasound, I returned to the hospital for a follow-up with the same doctors regarding the same medical issue. To my surprise, I was informed that I must pay a new consultation fee because the visit occurred on the eighth day instead of within the seven-day follow-up period. This reasoning is both unreasonable and unjust. It is entirely illogical to hold the patient responsible for scheduling constraints caused by the hospital’s own diagnostic center. The policy should not be applied mechanically when the circumstances clearly fall outside the patient’s control. Such practices reflect poor patient service and disregard for fairness, undermining trust in your institution. Rules are established to regulate, not to exploit or burden patients who are simply following doctors’ instructions in good faith. I therefore demand a full review of this case and the immediate cancellation of the unjustified additional charge. I also expect written confirmation that this issue has been addressed to prevent similar incidents in the future. Sincerely Mohamed

Assalamu Alaikom, I want to sincerely thank Dr. Sabah Khalid and Nurse Ms. Natalia and another nurse with her for the wonderful care they gave me when I was very sick and struggling with the flu. They were both so kind, gentle, and caring — I truly felt looked after. Dr. Sabah made sure I received the right treatment and medicine, which helped me recover faster and feel strong enough to take care of my daughter and husband who were also sick. Nurse Natalia was so patient and comforting throughout the process, and her warmth meant a lot to me during that difficult time. I myself witnessed how everyone was so busy attending all patients who were sick that time, inspite and despite off, you can still see the smile from their face which really made you feel you will get well don't worry, we are here.... I’m deeply grateful for their compassion and dedication. They didn’t just treat my illness — they genuinely cared, and that made all the difference. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. May ALLAH bless you good health and all the workers who are really ready to give care to their patients.

I visited Prime Medical Center at Oasis Mall for an ENT consultation. I was informed the night before by customer service that the consultation fee would be AED 250, and this was also confirmed at the reception. However, I was surprised to see a separate charge for an ear swab when it was time to pay. At no point before or during the consultation was I informed that this procedure would incur an additional cost. Additionally, the doctor mentioned that everything appeared normal prior to doing the swab, which makes it unclear why the procedure was even necessary. No explanation was given about the purpose of the swab, what it was for, or when I could expect any results, if there are results at all. I believe patients should be clearly informed in advance about any extra charges and the medical reasons for any additional procedures. I would appreciate it if you could review this case and clarify why the ear swab was performed and charged without prior notice or any follow up information. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I had no problem with Dr. Nermeen and her nurse but there was one particular nurse in the same reception area that was very rude. I was talking to her and she would not look at me and answer me. Complelety ignored me and was rude. I informed her supervisor and her supervisor called her so we can address the problem and she continued to be disrepectful and completely missed the issue of her being rude. She was even glaring at me while talking to me and talkingover her superior as well as when In was explaining. She needs to be trained again how nurses should conduct themselves. Out of all the nurses I have encountered at Prime in different branches, I have NEVER encountered anyone as rude and as disrepectful as this nurse. I could not see her name clearly as it was a bit long and the name tags were small.

I was disappointed to experience the level of health care in this centre which used to be much better. The nurses did not know how to perform the ECG as the wires fill down several times and the 2 nursses were clueless on how to put the wires and even where exactly to put them!!! The lab technician who took the sample was stressed and wanted just to finish the task fast as it seemed. He ended up injurying me twice with the needle which caused me to have blue marks for several days in my lefthand. He had to take the blood samples from the right hand!!! When i told the doctor about all of that, he looked unconcerned even when I questioned the ECG part and always shifted the discussion towards a long term medications before even completing all the analyses and diagnoses!!!
