Dr Thu Kent

Dr Thu Kent is a dedicated and compassionate Paediatrician who specialises in the comprehensive care of infants, newborns, and young children. With a reassuring and family-centred approach, she focuses on supporting families through the early stages of their children's lives, from birth through to early childhood. Dr Kent is particularly passionate about neonatal care, providing expert guidance and medical support for newborns, including those born from 34 weeks gestation onwards. She values the opportunity to build long-term relationships with families, often caring for multiple siblings and guiding them through crucial developmental milestones.

Dr Kent completed her medical degree at the University of Adelaide, graduating in 2001. Following her internship, she embarked on a comprehensive paediatric training programme, gaining extensive clinical experience across several major tertiary and community hospitals. She qualified as a Paediatric Consultant and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2012. In addition to her clinical qualifications, Dr Kent holds a Master of Public Health, reflecting her broad commitment to community health and well-being.
