Dr Reetika Dhir

Dr Reetika Dhir is a Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrician with over 20 years of clinical experience.

She graduated from medical school in 1996 and completed postgraduate training in paediatrics and neonatology across Australia and international centres. During her early career, she received a Young Investigator Award from the Perinatal Research Society and conducted neonatal health research in collaboration with researchers in the United States.

Dr Dhir completed specialist training in Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics at the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne. During this time, she worked in clinics focused on learning disabilities, behavioural disorders, ADHD, school function, and developmental assessment. She has also worked at Austin Health in services supporting children with eating disorders and chronic fatigue syndrome.

Her clinical practice focuses on neurodevelopmental and behavioural conditions in children and adolescents, including ADHD and related developmental disorders. She is a member of professional organisations including the Australian ADHD Professionals Association, the Victorian ADHD professional group (VAADHDIG), and the Australasian Society of Developmental Paediatricians.

Dr Dhir works in collaboration with psychiatrists and allied health professionals as part of multidisciplinary care for children with developmental and behavioural conditions.

She has published research on complementary and alternative medicine use in children.
