Dr Tamara Mogilevski

Dr Tamara Mogilevski is a highly qualified Gastroenterologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing a wide range of digestive health concerns. Dr Mogilevski completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of Melbourne, graduating with honours in 2011. She subsequently undertook extensive postgraduate training across several major metropolitan health services in Victoria, followed by a clinical research fellowship in inflammatory bowel disease at a renowned teaching hospital in London. In addition to her medical degree, she holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Dr Mogilevski maintains active professional memberships with the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA), where she serves on the inflammatory bowel disease faculty, and the European Crohn's and Colitis Organisation (ECCO).

With a broad range of clinical expertise, Dr Mogilevski specialises in the investigation and management of inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, as well as irritable bowel syndrome and coeliac disease. Her clinical interests also extend to bowel cancer screening, polyp surveillance, gastrointestinal bleeding, iron deficiency, reflux, and endometriosis-related gut symptoms. Alongside her clinical practice, she is actively involved in medical research and education, contributing to the training of future medical professionals and investigating advanced therapies such as vagal nerve stimulation and the gut-brain axis.
